Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Staff Operations Officer SME with an active TS/SCI clearance or willingness for a polygraph. This full-time role supports home station and deployed elements by providing operational research, analysis, and guidance to advance intelligence objectives.

Responsibilities include briefing customers, coordinating with HUMINT teams, drafting comprehensive reports and directives, and ensuring compliance with laws and Intelligence Oversight.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Counter-Intelligence Scope or Lifestyle polygraph or willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent six years of HUMINT experience.
• Certified HUMINT collector with operational experience.
• Minimum two HUMINT core collector assignments.
• Minimum three years planning and overseeing HUMINT collection operations.
• Experience presenting to senior customers and drafting briefs.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and classified systems.

Responsibilities

• Support home station and deployed elements with research, analysis and guidance.
• Write summaries, reports, and official correspondence using customer databases.
• Provide thorough briefings to the customer.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Intelligence Oversight.
• Develop Operations Orders and ICD-304 cables and other communications.
• Coordinate with analysts to produce support packets and reviews.
• Maintain asset management files and ensure source dossiers are complete.
• Collaborate to improve collection efforts and meet operational benchmarks.
• Assist with pre-mission training events and staff mission briefs.
