Elysium Healthcare’s Farndon Unit in Newark, Nottinghamshire, is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse. You will join a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to service users with complex mental health needs.

What you will be doing:

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
• Providing mentorship and support to team members
• Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Location: The Farndon Unit, Farndon Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 4SW

You will be working at the Farndon Unit, a purpose-built low secure hospital that offers personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, including a trauma-specific pathway, for women with complex care needs. You will join the multidisciplinary team in providing specialist care for people with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder and/or mild learning disability. The combination of general low secure wards and a recovery ward area (also within the low secure perimeter) provide a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering recovery and rehabilitation.
