Job summary

The Farndon Unit, Newark, UK requires an experienced nurse (RMN or RNLD) on a part-time basis. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate care and supporting recovery in a mental health setting.

You must have completed your Preceptorship (with evidence) to be considered for this post. This post is part-time, you will work 21.5 hours per week. What you will be doing

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care

• Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Where you will be working

Location: The Farndon Unit, Farndon Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 4SW You will be working at the Farndon Unit, a purpose-built mental health hospital that offers personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, including a trauma-specific pathway, for women with complex care needs, across low secure and Level 2 rehabilitation services. You will join the multidisciplinary team in providing specialist care for people with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder and/or mild learning disability. The combination of low secure wards, complex recovery wards and level 2 rehabilitation wards provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering recovery and rehabilitation.
