Job summary

GEICO seeks an experienced AI/ML architect to own the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance AI solutions that leverage agentic workflows for internal and customer-facing applications.

You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements, set roadmaps, and prioritize features while balancing business outcomes and release timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and building scalable production AI/ML applications and systems in cloud environments.
• 5+ years owning end-to-end development, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of scalable AI/ML applications.
• 5+ years experience with training, finetuning, real-time/batch inferencing, and evaluation systems for AI/ML models and LLMs used in production systems.
• 5+ years experience managing the end-to-end software development life cycle (CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployments, testing, monitoring & alerting, production support) for Generative AI applications, backend systems, and APIs.
• Experience with frameworks to build LLM-based agentic workflows (LangSmith/LangGraph or similar).
• Experience with agentic communication standards (A2A, MCP, and similar) to design and build multi-agent applications.
• Proficient in Python, Java or similar general-purpose programming languages.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of high-performance AI solutions with agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to gather requirements and prioritize features.
• Establish technical visions and roadmaps balancing business outcomes and release timelines.
• Integrate and build solutions using GEICO’s AI platform architecture.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews and design sessions.
