Job summary

Cellanome is seeking a Senior Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer in Foster City, CA to scale and mature consumable manufacturing for our life science instrument platform. You will own the consumable life cycle management from NPI to sustained manufacturing and lead cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires hands‑on work in cleanroom environments, process validation, CAPA, and continuous improvement to reduce variability and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12 years of progressive manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Experience leading NPI, continuous improvement and sustaining engineering.
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer and qualification of new consumable manufacturing processes.
• Own sustaining engineering for released consumables and CAPA.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve yield, cycle time, and COGs.
• Develop tech transfer deliverables and manufacturing process design.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Operations for readiness.
