Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Prompt Engineer to translate business needs into precise LLM prompts and drive integration with existing applications.

You will collaborate with domain experts, researchers, and engineers to build scalable prompt systems, stay current with AI advances, and document best practices for knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with prompt engineering and GPT/HuggingFace.
• 3+ years Python or other AI/ML languages.
• Experience with PyTorch and data libraries such as Pandas/NumPy.
• NLP/ML project internships or experience.
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or related fields
• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with prompt engineering and familiarity with tools such as OpenAI’s GPT models, Hugging Face, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or other programming languages commonly used in AI/ML development.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Previous experience or internships involving NLP or machine learning projects.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
