Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer for Customer Platforms. You will lead a broad technical agenda, guide cross‑functional teams, and deliver end‑to‑end platform improvements in a cloud environment. Expect hands‑on coding, architecture leadership, and mentoring across 100+ engineers.

You will define strategy for foundational platforms, drive modernization of systems, and partner with product managers to expand Capital One’s reach with scalable, data‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
• Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns.
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Data architecture experience.
