Job summary

Snorkel AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Computer Use Agents to partner with leading AI labs and enterprises on agentic‑AI initiatives. In this role, you will lead the technical execution of complex customer engagements involving agents that operate computers, browsers, and software environments to complete realistic, multi-step tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ML engineering, software engineering, applied AI or similar
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based or agentic systems (computer-use agents)
• Strong Python and production software development skills
• Experience designing task environments, datasets, and verifiers for agents
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into concrete task environments and data pipelines
• Experience communicating technical tradeoffs to stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and influence product decisions

Responsibilities

• Design and build task environments, datasets, and evaluation workflows for computer-using agents across browsers and desktop apps.
• Translate goals and real-world workflows into multi-step tasks with clear success criteria.
• Develop data-generation, validation, and QA pipelines for multimodal agent data.
• Create automated evaluators and measurement frameworks for task completion and robustness.
• Diagnose agent failures and improve tasks, data, and evaluations.
• Design and run experiments to measure data and task impacts on agent performance.
• Deliver reusable task suites, datasets, and evaluation assets for customers.
