Senior Staff Engineer - ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end configuration and setup of ServiceNow instances.
  • Develop and implement Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and Service Request Management modules.
  • Configure SSO, email notifications, MID Server setup, user groups, and permissions.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications such as ESRI (ArcGIS), ARMIS Security, PDQ Inventory, and Hexagon/Infor EAM (AMPS).
  • Implement and maintain CMDB, ITSM, ITOM Discovery and Service Management, HAM, SAM, Chatbot, and SecOps.
  • Ensure compliance with client's security standards and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical documentation, including system maps, workflow diagrams, wireframes, data dictionaries, and migration plans.

Desired Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in ServiceNow platform development and administration.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, and Service Portal.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, API connectors).
  • Experience with workflow automation, UI policies, business rules, ACLs, and catalog items.
  • Knowledge of data migration techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks, including application vulnerability remediation.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing client interactions, setting expectations, and driving technical discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration with 2-3 major end-to-end implementations completed.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
  • Experience working on government or US public sector projects is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Gross Salary Range (including bonuses): $130K to $150K yearly + Nagarro Benefits
  • This position is hybrid in NYC.
