Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems software, distributed storage, or Linux kernel/FS engineering.
• Strong LustreFS experience in development, support or performance engineering.
• Proficient C programming and Linux debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, networking and performance analysis.
• Experience with high‑speed transports such as RDMA, InfiniBand or RoCE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and debug LustreFS features, fixes and enhancements across subsystems such as llite, MDS/MDT, OSS/OST, LDLM and LNet.
• Investigate customer and scale-related defects, drive root-cause analysis and implement high-quality fixes.
• Contribute to performance tuning, failure analysis and reliability improvements for large-scale Lustre deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and subsystem discussions, ensuring robust testing and deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with QE and support to reproduce issues and improve diagnostic data quality.
