Samsung Austin Research and Development Center is seeking a Senior Staff Debug & Validation Engineer to lead post-silicon validation of mobile GPU interconnects, memory controllers, and SoCs. You will own debug, power/tech analysis, and automation across Android and Firmware environments.

The role requires extensive experience in GPU/SoC validation, board bring-up, and collaboration with design, verification, and software teams. On-site work is required at the Austin, TX facility.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or 13+ years with a Master’s or 11+ with a Ph.D.
• Experience with Coherent Interconnect and GPU architectural knowledge
• Experience with SoC and board-level bring-up
• Experience with power and performance data collection in Firmware/Android environments
• Experience with Android/Linux driver development
• Experience with Verilog and GPU drivers
• Programming languages: Linux, Android Kernel, BIOS, Firmware
