Adobe Risk Platform (ARP) seeks a Sr Staff Engineer to define the architectural direction for risk mitigation across Adobe. You will set standards, patterns, and a long-term technical strategy enabling ARP and Adobe to stay ahead of evolving fraud and abuse.

You will lead multi-year platform design, drive AI/ML integration for safer commerce, and mentor senior engineers, shaping the next generation of technical leaders within Adobe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years architecting high-scale, highly performant platforms and leading technical teams.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML to strengthen fraud detection and counter AI-powered attacks.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems for multi-year risk mitigation with iterative delivery.
• Push the platform with AI/ML to strengthen detection and defense.
• Lay foundational blocks and shift toward event-driven, continuously-reasoning risk intelligence.
• Set architectural standards for risk-decisioning services adopted across Adobe.
• Share architectural thinking via docs, papers, talks, and reviews.
• Simplify complex systems into buildable designs with confidence.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers to grow technical leaders.
