Qualifications

• Laboratory testing related to civil engineering.
• Applying advanced mathematical and probabilistic/statistical concepts to solve engineering problems.
• Collaborating with a team to perform projects.
• Authority to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Participate in pre-task planning.
• Coordinate and supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and evaluation of data, development of recommendations.
• Develop plans, schedules, conduct and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Prepare work scope, proposals and reports and plans investigations for approval by senior level professionals for routine projects.
• Interact with client and project teams in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.

• Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Integrate quality leadership practices into daily regimen.
• Provide consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
• Engineering professional responsible for managing and executing small to medium projects and sometimes more complex projects.
• Develop the scope of work for routine projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and other project related documents.
• Analyze data and perform engineering calculations and analysis.
• Coordinate and supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and evaluation of respective data, development of recommendations.
• Develop plans, schedules, conduct and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Work closely with senior-level project managers to gain project management and engineering experience.
• Make design recommendations, adaptations and modifications.
• Prepare work scope, proposals and reports and plans investigations for approval by senior level professionals for routine projects.
• Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members.
• Interact with client and project teams in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.
• Works under the supervision of an Authorized Project Reviewer.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of related experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus 6 months of related experience.

Required experience must include any amount of experience in all of the following:

• Writing official documents including thesis, assignments, and reports
• Laboratory testing related to civil engineering
• Applying advanced mathematical and fundamental probabilistic/statistical concepts to solve engineering problems

Collaborating with a team to perform projects

Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
