Job summary

Altium, a global software company accelerating electronics innovation, seeks a Staff DevOps Engineer to own complex DevOps solutions across infrastructure, automation, and delivery pipelines. You will lead architectural direction, build scalable multi-cloud environments, and optimize CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions.

You will mentor teams, drive DevOps maturity, and integrate security and compliance into the delivery lifecycle, shaping the organization’s technical trajectory.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of professional experience in software engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and define architectural direction across the organization.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions spanning multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) for reliability.
• Mentor engineers and drive DevOps maturity across teams.
• Embed DevSecOps practices and ensure CIS/NIST compliance.
