Job summary

Fruition Group US is seeking a Senior Staff Design Engineer to develop next-generation silicon MMIC and Silicon-on-Insulator technologies, focusing on high-frequency RF switch and related product development.

You will design, simulate and verify circuits to 70GHz, own MMIC layout with DRC/LVS, and work with foundries on PDK validation and wafer development. Expect hands-on RF testing and cross-functional collaboration for production-ready designs.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 5-10+ years of silicon RFIC/MMIC design experience.
• Proven track record designing silicon MMIC products from concept through tape-out.
• Strong experience with Cadence Virtuoso and MMIC layout/verification.
• Experience with high-frequency silicon design up to 70GHz.
• Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, Momentum or EMX).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and verify high-frequency silicon RFIC/MMIC circuits operating up to 70GHz.
• Own MMIC layout, including DRC/LVS, using Cadence Virtuoso.
• Work directly with foundries on PDK validation, device modelling, wafer development and tape-out.
• Perform hands-on RF characterization and laboratory testing to validate silicon performance.
• Define product specifications, test plans and support designs through production release.
• Collaborate with applications, product and engineering teams and contribute to technical design reviews.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 5-10+ years of silicon RFIC/MMIC design experience.
• Proven track record designing and taking silicon MMIC products from concept through tape-out and production.
• Strong experience with Cadence Virtuoso and MMIC layout/verification.
• Experience with high-frequency silicon design, ideally to 70GHz.
• Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation, including HFSS, Momentum or EMX.
• Strong understanding of RF circuit design, semiconductor fabrication, PDKs and silicon characterization.
