You will own end-to-end integration, define interfaces (Modbus, CAN, MQTT), and lead system architecture for external equipment interaction with data exchange, testing, and validation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in controls, systems, or integration engineering.
• Deep experience with industrial protocols and hardware interfaces.
• Strong system-level debugging and RCA skills.
• Proven track record integrating third-party equipment in complex systems.
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration of third-party hardware with the controls platform.
• Define and standardize communication interfaces (Modbus, CAN, MQTT).
• Lead system architecture for external equipment interaction and data exchange.
• Drive vendor alignment on interface requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
• Identify and resolve system-level integration risks early in development.
• Develop validation strategies, test plans, and tools for integration robustness.
• Partner with controls, systems, and field teams to ensure successful deployment and performance.
• Establish scalable frameworks and best practices for future integrations.
