Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join a Scrum team working on a cloud-based suite to automate and connect engineering tools for wind turbine development. The role covers frontend and backend work, data-heavy UI flows, and end-to-end software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with product owners and engineers to refine the engineering tool suite, mentor teammates, and implement new digital technologies to enhance internal applications and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong programming experience.
• Proven experience in Cloud Computing/AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile or other software management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Advance state-of-the-art computer modeling and process improvements of Wind Turbines engineering digital tools.
• Collaborate with Product/Software Owners and stakeholders to refine vision and execution for the engineering tools.
• Develop and integrate new digital technologies to add value and improve efficiencies.
• Own full software lifecycle including coding, documentation, training, and testing.
• Coach and mentor team members in your area of expertise.
