Job summary

Coupang is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for the Security Infrastructure team. You will build platforms that secure Coupang’s ecosystem, enabling thousands of microservices and vendors.

You’ll lead backend work, design scalable IAM solutions, and collaborate across teams to drive platform adoption and reliability. You will write backend APIs in Java and Go, work with Kubernetes and Istio, and contribute to high‑availability systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or closely related field.
• 8+ years of backend software development experience.
• Experience with cloud environments, especially AWS.
