Mytra is seeking a Sr / Staff Automation Controls Engineer to lead innovations in warehouse automation. The role includes responsibilities for hardware interfacing between robots and customers, requiring experience with embedded systems and automation tooling. You will design robust safety-critical hardware solutions while collaborating with various engineering teams.
About Mytra
We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
Mytra is changing warehouse automation and needs someone who has experience with standard industrial controls and embedded systems. This person will use both of those skillsets to break industrial automation free from its outdated tooling and propel it into the modern world.
As a Sr / Staff Automation Controls Engineer you will be responsible for the hardware interfacing between customers and Mytra robots. You will design and maintain safety and mission critical hardware that is highly robust, debuggable, and fast. You will be responsible for determining the optimal blend of off the shelf and custom hardware solutions to complex electro-mechanical problems.
You’re encouraged to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement. We work closely and collaboratively at Mytra - No one takes on projects alone. We seek people who are eager to work together, learn new things, and bring unique perspectives.
