Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking an experienced architect to lead the architectural design of commercial and industrial buildings and assets from requirements through construction. You will develop concepts, drawings, and reports, collaborating with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant designs.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in architecture and 7+ years of professional experience, with knowledge of codes and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and architectural project deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality engineering packages under schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and designs in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Produce architectural specifications, drawings, and reports with or without designer support.
• Collaborate with designers, engineering, and construction to develop efficient and effective designs.
• Develop safe architectural designs.
• Work in teams, managing or being managed as required for each project.
• Serve as architect of record for selected projects (licensed candidates).
• Lead or support permitting processes with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities and deliver to project deadlines.
• Develop and implement discipline-specific practices and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Actively engage in development of Mariana’s internal software tools.
