Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Staff Applications Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple engineering teams. You will drive design and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives and help shape architecture, engineering best practices, and scalable software solutions.

Expected to lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and translate technology strategy into tangible roadmaps while collaborating with product management and executives to align priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Eng., or related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, incl. leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven success designing and delivering distributed systems, cloud-native apps, or large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Go, Python, or C++.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and execution of large-scale cross-team initiatives.
• Define architectural standards and reusable design patterns across product/platform teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers.
• Lead architecture reviews and critical design decisions for mission-critical systems.
