Cadre CPAs and Advisors LLP is seeking a generalist staff accountant to clean up trial balances and prepare tax returns, with close work to the reviewing CPA. You’ll handle tax prep during busy season and shift to accounting and bookkeeping the rest of the year.

You’ll work with SurePrep/1040SCAN, UltraTax, SafeSend, and QuickBooks, gaining broad exposure across client engagements and real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a public accounting firm setting.
• Strong accounting instinct and ability to read debits/credits.
• CPA license not required; CPA-eligible or CPA candidates welcome.

Responsabilités

• Prepare tax returns during busy season and shift to accounting/bookkeeping year-round.
• Clean up trial balances and prepare returns with CPA oversight.
• Communicate with clients to gather documents and resolve open items.
• Assist with client reviews and engagements as needed.
