Job summary

CPI Composite Structures, AdamWorks Operations, located in Centennial, Colorado, is seeking an onsite Senior Staff Accountant & Purchasing professional to manage the company’s full accounting and purchasing functions. The role is hands-on, covering financial reporting, transactional accounting (AP, AR, payroll), cost accounting, and end-to-end procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and purchasing.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual close; maintain general ledger and financial statements per GAAP.
• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Oversee cost accounting including inventory, WIP, standard costing, and overhead.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and aerospace regulations; audits as needed.
