Job summary

EnviroLogix is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own and improve core accounting processes while guiding remote shared-service staff supporting AP and AR. The role will perform and review accounting activities, support month-end close and audit requirements, monitor priorities, and escalate issues to the appropriate manager.

Over time, the role may expand into broader leadership of AP/AR processes and potentially move toward formal people-management or Accounting Manager responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CMA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review AP/AR, general ledger entries, reconciliations and supporting docs.
• Prepare financial statements and analyses per GAAP and internal policies.
• Perform reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and resolve.
• Support internal controls and audit requirements.
