Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cost accounting and related duties for the organization.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly.
• Verify ledger coding on payables and set up new vendor accounts.
• Verify payment of invoices and ensure correct account charging.
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, and other financial accounts.
• Assist outside auditors and gather documents for annual audit.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Perform organizational reconciliations.
• Utilize accounting frameworks in daily activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
