Job summary

LANGE Shared Service, Inc. is hiring for a Senior Staff Accountant II to lead monthly close activities, prepare GAAP financial statements and support key stakeholders. You will work with finance teammates to deliver accurate reports and assist with audits and financial analysis across the organization.

The role includes supervising up to 5 team members, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience with financial analysis reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with intermediate to advance skills in Excel.
• Highly proficient with accounting software.
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepares GAAP financial statements.
• Reviews monthly reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepares assigned monthly financial reports.
• Manages audits and appraisals, including fielding auditor questions and collection of PBC's.
• Provides guidance to other Finance staff regarding treatment of financial transactions.

What You Can Expect Working in the Senior Staff Accountant II Position

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and management of the monthly close process. You will work closely with key stakeholders, management, and other members of the Finance team to provide financial information and guidance for decision making.
