Job summary

Blackinkservices is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support multiple clients across industries with in-depth financial analysis, reporting, and operational finance oversight. You will lead bookkeeping, payroll, A/P, A/R, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

The role emphasizes autonomy, client interaction, and collaboration with Account Managers. You will guide month-end closes, audits, and tax support, while maintaining confidentiality and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting and financial experience across multiple clients.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with QuickBooks.
• Advanced experience in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communicator with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential information and multi-task with ease.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with industry research and competitive analysis.
• Masters Degree in Accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain general bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, Payroll, and GL maintenance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Oversee client accounts, understand needs and outline expectations.
• Support clients during audit and tax preparations.
• Facilitate monthly close and finalize financial statements.
• Lead accounting processes, provide guidance, review processes, and drive improvements.
