Job summary

ScentAir in Charlotte, NC seeks a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You will handle general ledger duties, close processes, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting while supporting audits and process improvements.

The role offers exposure to senior finance leadership in a global setting. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of accounting experience, a solid grasp of GAAP, and strong Excel skills; CPA candidate status is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience preferred in a corporate setting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency; CPA/CPA candidate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations and schedules.
• Record journal entries and ensure accuracy per policies and standards.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Apply customer cash receipts and maintain customer account balances.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting.
• Support monthly financial reporting and analysis and audit activities.
