Kinly is a leading integrator of audio-visual and unified communications solutions, serving as a trusted advisor for over 25 years. We seek an experienced Accountant to oversee all financial activities across Americas and to help design and implement financial controls aligned to departmental goals.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Wall, NJ with full-time, permanent employment and a competitive salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or proven experience in accounting, including revenue recognition.
• GAAP knowledge and an understanding of revenue recognition.
• Capable of preparing monthly financial statements to include balance sheet and income statement; reports on variances.
• Be able to cope with multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Perform general accounting functions & maintain accounting records.
• Maintain general ledger including journal entries, invoicing coding, accounts analysis, reconciliations, monthly closings.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and assist outside auditors at year-end.
• Maintain records of all financial documents with supporting material; ensure controls.
• Interface with Information Management for accounting data and system enhancements.

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per annum, plus benefits including:

As the company continues to grow further, we now have a new opportunity for a proven Accountant to oversee all financial activities across Americas and to play a leading role in recommending, designing and implementing financial controls aligned to departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the Financial Controller perform general accounting functions & accounting records
• Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts
• Perform month-end reconciliations
• Assist outside auditors at year-end to include preparing schedules, providing explanation of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data
• Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material
• Recommend, design, and implement any necessary department controls
• Interface with Information Management department for accounting and management data and initiate modifications/enhancements to computerized systems

Skills & experience

• Accounting degree or proven experience in accounting, including revenue recognition
• Must have GAAP knowledge & an understanding of revenue recognition
• Capable of preparing monthly financial statements to include preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, reports on changes in financial position/budget variances
• Be able to cope with multiple projects simultaneously
