Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in North Salt Lake, UT. The role reports to the Assistant Controller and will perform core general accounting and controls functions to support the department.

Key duties include recording monthly journal entries, ensuring timely month-end close, performing account analyses, and supporting AP/AR activities, audits, and management reporting. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and ERP/Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent in a combination of experience, training, and education.
• Cost & Inventory accounting preferred
• Ability to apply logical thinking to gathering and analyzing information
• Knowledge of accounting software, ERP software, minimum intermediate Excel spreadsheet and Word software knowledge
• Must be able to multi-task, be detailed oriented and possess strong organization skills
• Maintain attention to deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks, reports and reconciliation.
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels of the organization

• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our finance team! The position will report to the Assistant Controller. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance Department by performing multiple general accounting and controls functions.

Job Location

This is a hybrid role based out of our North Salt Lake, UT site.
