Job summary

Grand View Lodge is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own month-end close activities, manage resort revenue reporting, and perform revenue audits of outlets. The role supports financial reporting and account reconciliations within a hospitality-focused accounting team.

You will partner with leadership to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial data, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality in handling guest information.

Qualifications

• AA in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Hospitality or resort accounting experience preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily revenue by verifying and posting transactions accurately.
• Identify and resolve posting discrepancies by investigating information.
• Prepare and post journal entries as required.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned.
• Review work prepared by other staff members as assigned.
• Protect confidentiality of company and guest financial information.
• Cross-train accounting team to build department resilience.

Job Summary

Grand View Lodge is looking for a detail-oriented, organized Senior Staff Accountant professional to join our Accounting team. You'll own month-end close activities, manage the full reporting of resort revenue and revenue audit of outlets, support financial reporting, and account reconciliations for review.

What you bring:

• Associate degree in Accounting plus at least 5 years of relevant experience could be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
• Hospitality or resort accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to make accurate calculations; proficiency with 10-key and PC required.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and email.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
• Proven ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure; you find solutions and stay calm when it's busy.
