Job summary

Living Spaces in La Mirada, CA seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to manage the general ledger, prepare monthly financial statements, and analyze cash flow with minimal supervision. ## Senior Staff AccountantApply: La Mirada, CA - Corporate: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R45756## Position Summary The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, the accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial statements, and cash flow and daily cash processing and analysis.## Position Description**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Performs financial analyses, journal entries, and/or reports such as bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, accruals etc. with minimal supervision.* Designs, creates, and/or substantially modifies those same items* Researches and analyzes simple to moderately complex accounting issues to determine the appropriate accounting treatment with minimal supervision* Provides analysis and reporting of such issues to management* Processes all banking transactions: wires, bank transfers, ACH transfers, etc.* Prepares and maintains cash forecasts* Maintains, processes and records all rent and lease-related journal entries, schedules, payments, etc.* Interacts directly with managers in analyzing financial and budget-to-actual data## Qualifications**Education/Experience:** Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.**Computer Skills:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong system skills including experience with a large ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or SAP. Excellent PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel required## **Position Hiring Range**The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
