Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert for validation on customer test requirements and results, reviewing and challenging current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to increase effectiveness and efficiencies across the product portfolio.
  • Recommend and instrument new validation approaches that provide better coverage, more accurate testing, and expanded testing services.
  • Root‑cause and drive failures to closure while articulating the associated risk.
  • Evaluate, refine and enforce validation processes and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of in‑house automation frameworks and tools.
  • Lead product test cycles using technical, project, and delegation experience.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.
  • Enable shift‑left efforts to move failure detection from customer tests to internal‑developed and maintained test frameworks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in an engineering‑related occupation.
  • Experience with customer test requirements, PCIe/NVMe log analysis, drive debug analysis, and system debug log analysis.
  • Responsible for OEM customer validation testing, requirements, and qualifications.
Salary

The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is $175,924.00 - $247,000.00.
