Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an experienced AWS SRE/Platform Engineer for a contract-to-hire hybrid role in Addison, TX. Lead reliability, performance, security, and observability for enterprise platforms and web apps, guiding cloud infrastructure, IaC, and security tooling.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical lead with strong AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, DNS, CDN, WAF, and SIEM practices, capable of mentoring teams and driving modernization across global engineering

Qualifications

8+ years supporting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure services, or web technologies.
3+ years serving as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, Architect, or equivalent.
Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, DNS, CDN, AWS WAF, SSL/TLS, observability platforms, CI/CD, and SRE practices.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across Platform Engineering and SRE functions.
Define and drive adoption of SLOs/SLIs and incident management.
Own enterprise monitoring and observability platform, dashboards, and alerting standards.
Lead governance of the global domain portfolio (DNS, certificate management).
Design and support Terraform IaC modules and deployment pipelines.
