Alpen Labs, a Bitcoin infrastructure company based in New York, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead the reliability of Alpen’s core infrastructure. You will design scalable, highly available systems in a distributed blockchain platform and mentor other engineers.

You will partner with engineering, security, and platform teams to set reliability standards, define SLOs, and drive initiatives across the stack. This role requires a strong DevOps mindset and ownership.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
• Deep AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform production experience.
• Strong observability and incident response capabilities.
• Experience leading reliability-focused projects.
• Strong Linux networking and distributed systems knowledge.
• Based in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Lead Kubernetes architecture and operations for production-grade systems.
• Own and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Design and maintain observability systems with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident response and postmortems to improve reliability.
• Drive automation across deployments and system management.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for speed and safety.
• Champion DevOps best practices across teams.
• Collaborate effectively within a globally distributed team.
