Job summary

Mirantis, the Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure leader, seeks an Senior SRE to own reliability for the K0rdent Observability Framework. You will derive meaningful SLIs/SLOs from platform telemetry and expose them via a clean API to Platform Administrators, spanning hybrid, edge, and air-gapped deployments.

You will craft end-to-end reliability definitions, write APIs, and shape alerting and error budgets, collaborating with infra, storage, and networking teams to instrument signals and resolve

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, platform reliability, or a related role.
• Strong software engineering with Go or Python in production APIs/services.
• Experience defining SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for real systems.
• Hands-on with observability tools: metrics, logs, tracing.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and related signals.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs and SLOs based on platform signals across Kubernetes, bare-metal, and NVIDIA hardware.
• Design and build API exposing SLIs and reliability state for admins and downstream systems.
• Establish alerting and error-budget practices to maximize signal and minimize noise.
• Partner with infra, storage, and networking teams to instrument and collect signals.
• Diagnose reliability and performance issues across the observability stack and drive resolution.
