We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructure for Python and Java applications, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency while advancing observability and automated deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE managing production AWS environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, RDS).
• Strong Docker containerization and IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Solid troubleshooting for Python (Gunicorn/Celery) and Java (JVM) runtimes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and safe deployments.
• Proficient with observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Loki) and DR concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain multi-AZ AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and databases.
• Build and operate Docker-based containerized applications and microservices in production.
• Troubleshoot Python and Java applications, resolving memory, concurrency, and performance issues.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and testing.
• Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling).
• Centralize logging, metrics, tracing, and alerts using observability tools.
• Configure autoscaling based on load testing and usage metrics.
• Implement resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, retries, and dead-letter queues.
• Define disaster recovery plans (RTO/RPO) and enforce IAM/security best practices.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will build, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure supporting Python and Java applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure reliable services, secure deployments, effective observability, and efficient resource usage.

KeyResponsibilities

• Define disaster recovery plans (RTO/RPO) and enforce security best practices across IAM and encryption.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles managing production AWS environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, RDS).
• Strong expertise with Docker containerization and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Solid operational knowledge troubleshooting Python (Gunicorn/Celery) and Java (JVM, thread pools, GC) runtimes.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and safe deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
• Hands-on proficiency with observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Loki), DR concepts (RTO/RPO), and Python/Bash scripting.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with advanced autoscaling based on queue depth, message age, or custom application metrics.
• Experience with capacity planning, sizing, and resource tuning for CPU, memory, storage, and IOPS.
• Relevant AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Professional).
