CrowdStrike in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Principal SRE to own reliability across Falcon Platform. Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days in-office, with cross‑product collaboration and leadership across product engineering teams.

You’ll drive architectural improvements, champion SRE practices, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, fault-tolerant cloud services used by thousands of customers worldwide.

Qualifications

10+ years building and operating distributed systems
5+ years developing microservices for SaaS
Expert-level Go or ability to reach expert level in Go
Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns
Proven experience influencing architectural decisions across org

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering leadership to define reliability roadmaps
Design and implement architectural improvements to services and libraries
Develop and maintain services with strong reliability and scalability
Lead performance and cost optimization in large-scale systems
Establish observability practices and define SLIs/SLOs
