Job summary
Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a senior engineering professional for a long-term hybrid contract. The role emphasizes full-stack capabilities, observability, automation, and cloud platforms including Azure/OpenShift.
You will advise on complex strategic engineering challenges and partner with senior client leadership to deliver scalable solutions. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of engineering experience, strong DevOps and cloud skills, and proven performance
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated by work, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience in full stack (Infrastructure Virtual Machines, Storage NAS, Database, Application Languages Java, Python).
- Experience in identifying and implementing Non Functional Requirements.
- Experience in Observability tools like AppDynamics, Elastic, SPLUNK, Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Google Cloud Logging.
- Experience in DevOps Tools like GITHUB, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, BlackDuck, Harness.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies like Azure, TKGI, Open Shift.
- 3+ years of experience in two or more of Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management & Actionable, Data Driven insights.
- 5+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design; 3+ years of secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments.
- 5+ years of experience in application monitoring, performance management, analysis and troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of experience with standard industry performance tools and process.
- 3+ years of SRE experience developing automated solutions for operational aspects.
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies/Kubernetes/Containers
Responsibilities
- Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives for highly complex business and technical needs across Engineering.
- Consult on strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering long-term, large-scale solutions.
- Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Engineering business solutions.
- Strategically engage with client personnel.
