Job summary

Qualifications

4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or similar with production infra.
Strong Linux: systemd, journald, SSH, shell scripting.
Solid networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP/ARP, firewalls.
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Proficiency in Python, Rust, or similar.
Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems/runbooks.
Comfort working across hardware and software boundaries.
Eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Build systems to monitor Sentry tower fleet health.
Remotely diagnose issues across compute, services, firmware, sensors and power, and connectivity.
Run root-cause analysis on incidents.
Develop automations to reduce manual toil and enable safe fleet rollouts.
Plan and run staged software, firmware, and config rollouts.
Review incident trends and maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
Provide feedback on system and subcomponent reliability.
Take part in on-call or escalation rotations for operational events.
