Job summary

Reflexive Concepts seeks a skilled SQL Software Developer to support and enhance an enterprise budgeting and financial information solution. You will collaborate with customers, technical leads, System Engineers, and development teams to deliver reliable, maintainable systems across the full SDLC.

You will contribute to legacy technology sustainment while identifying modernization opportunities and coordinating across teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of software development/engineering experience.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with Java, Django, ReactJS, Python, JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and dev stacks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise SQL-based applications and database components that integrate critical budgeting and financial information.
• Work directly with customers, technical leads, and System Engineers to understand requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Manage development and sustainment work through JIRA across requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with multiple technical and development teams to coordinate shared dependencies and implement changes across interconnected systems.
• Apply software development, design, testing, QA, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support system operations and ongoing sustainment.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and operational efficiency, reducing outage duration and streamlining upgrades.
