Job summary

A technology solutions company located in South Carolina is seeking a skilled SR. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR to manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including migration from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012. The position requires 8-10 years of SQL DBA experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work on high availability solutions. Excellent communication skills are necessary, and candidates located in SC, GA, or NC will have preferred consideration. This is expected to be a long-term assignment requiring on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years SQL DBA experience required.
• Experience with SQL Server Database Administration.
• Strong skills in backup, recovery, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases.
• Perform backup and recovery on Database Management Systems.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues as they occur.
• Develop and support data warehouse and cubes through SQL Server Analysis Services.
