Senior SQL Server Database Administrator – Healthcare IT & IV&V Technical Consultant

Columbia, South Carolina - Remote

Required Skills

• 7+ years’ experience as a SQL DBA
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server
• 5+ years’ experience with High Availability/Disaster Recover (HA/DR)
• 3+ years’ experience with TSQL
• 3+ years’ experience with PowerShell scripting
• 7+ years’ experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security
• Proven DBA experience in supporting enterprise applications in Linux/Windows.
• Understanding of database scalability and operations.
• Strong communication (oral/written) and teamwork.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data encryption and traffic encryption.
• Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
• Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Healthcare industry experience and/or experience managing PHI/PII data
• Vendor management experience
• Medicaid operations experience
• Public sector experience is a plus
