Job summary

Gridline is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to tackle complex data and performance challenges in our SQL Server–based data warehouse. You will own stored procedures, data access layers, and occasional C#/.NET and React work that consumes the data.

You must be a self‑starter who can investigate ambiguities, drive work to completion, and collaborate in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps and Git.

Qualifications

• Strong MS SQL Server skills with data warehousing and large datasets.
• Proficient in T‑SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Azure DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with .NET 6+ and React is a plus.
• Agile experience in fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize complex stored procedures that build warehouse tables.
• Tune database performance for very large datasets and multiple servers.
• Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, scheduling, and failure analysis.
• Understand data usage across Gridline products and upstream impacts.
• Analyze telematics and API data to provide insights.
• Write code in SQL, C#, .NET, and React as needed.
• Collaborate in 2‑week sprints using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and observable systems.
