Job summary

Tower Loan is seeking a Senior SQL Server/BI Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and optimize the company’s data reporting and BI environment. You will work on SSRS reporting, SQL scripting, and data integration to provide reliable insights for business decisions.

You’ll collaborate with analysts and engineers, implement data governance, monitor performance, and contribute to ETL, data modeling, and BI solution design.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.
• Strong SSRS report development including parameterized reports and sub-reports.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and sub-reports.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL scripts, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Implement, maintain, and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs and automation.
• Monitor SQL Server performance; perform indexing and query tuning.
• Support data quality, governance, and security practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to identify requirements.
• Participate in data modeling, ETL development, and BI solution design.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database objects and processes.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluate SQL Server and BI trends; recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues; coordinate resolution.
• Support BI visualization tools and reporting platforms.
• Assist with special IT projects and initiatives.
