Job summary

Partnership HealthPlan of California seeks an experienced ETL/Data Engineer to develop and manage ETL processes for Web Applications and Automation projects. You will design SSIS packages, support production ETL runs, and collaborate with EIM/EDW teams to retire old data warehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; minimum four (4) years of systems analysis experience; healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, develop and implement ETL process to support Web Applications and Automation projects.
• Responsible for designing and developing SSIS packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
• Responsible for supporting production of all Web Applications ETL process and monitoring production jobs.
• Develops and maintains in-depth understanding of SQL Server, SSIS, Oracle, and Analysis Services.
• Responsible for working closely with EIM and EDW teams to retire all processes related to old data warehouse and lab data databases.
• Work closely with EIM and EDW to source HIE and EDW data for web applications.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining data linage for all ETL Processes.
• Responsible designing, developing, and implementing solutions to archive web applications data.
• Responsible for working closely with EDI team in centralizing all web applications ETL Jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Responsible for coordination with other departments regarding resolving issues, consistency and accuracy of data.
• Works with IT and business stakeholders on development and coordination of ETL and other processes.
• Uses sound technical judgment and makes appropriate systems decisions in absence of the Manager / Director Web Applications Development.
• Responsible to train new staff on Web applications, process, Web Systems Data, and ETL architecture, ETL standards, and ETL documentation.
• Responsible for the coordination of the production, development, and UAT environments.
