Job summary

HMA in Minnesota is seeking a Senior ETL Developer II to design, implement, test, and support complex data integration solutions using SQL Server and SSIS. You will translate business needs into scalable ETL processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior developers while upholding SDLC standards.

The role focuses on healthcare data workflows including claims, encounter, eligibility, enrollment, and financial data processing, with emphasis on quality, automation, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, mathematics, or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of ETL, data integration, data warehousing, or data development experience using SQL Server and related tech.
• Minimum 3 years in lead/senior lead or technical leadership role; mentoring and coordinating work.
• Healthcare data experience preferred (claims, encounter, enrollment, eligibility, financial or regulatory reporting).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support complex ETL processes with SQL Server and SSIS.
• Troubleshoot data-processing, integration, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, mentor others on ETL design and healthcare data.
• Define requirements with stakeholders, contribute to design reviews, estimates, and implementation.
• Support data quality, validation, automation, and performance improvements.
