We are growing our Federal team and seek a highly qualified SQL DBA to define, support, secure, and administer SQL Server databases ensuring optimal performance and availability. The role involves database management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, diagnostics, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of database management experience.
• Experience with a wide range of database technologies.
• Experience hardening security policies and access controls.
• Experience performance tuning, backup/recovery, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define, support, secure, and administer SQL Server databases.
• Perform maintenance, patching, and server upkeep.
• Troubleshoot daily database issues and perform error triage.
• Assist users with creating and building SQL/Oracle databases.
• Respond to RFCs for maintenance and enhancements.
• Maintain database documentation and procedures.
• Communicate with management and stakeholders.
