Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join a fast‑paced, hard‑working team to assist with any legal accounts. In this role you will play a key part in supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio.

Responsibilities include managing SQL Server 2019/2022, designing reports with SSRS, clustering, log shipping, backups, and cloud migration. You will work with data lakes, warehouses, and data models to ensure seamless integration with legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
• Design SQL reports and maintenance jobs.
• Manage databases in clustered environments with high availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support, including security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and maintenance jobs.
• Assist in managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, security, tables, indexes, procedures, and reports.
• Create and maintain databases in a clustered server environment with data models.
• Apply data lake/warehouse concepts and data modeling to integrate legacy infra.
• Mirror servers, implement log shipping, backups, and high availability for SQL Server 2019+.
• Facilitate migration of systems to cloud infrastructure.
• Upgrade SQL Servers and create SSRS reports; set up a reporting server and DBA functions.
