Note: Some SQL shops have multiple team members with specific functions. This position requires recent comprehensive experience in all aspects of SQL DBA Administration.

Minimum Requirements: 7+ years experience with SQL Server 2016 or later versions, including:

• Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs
• Creating and scheduling SQL Server jobs for database maintenance
• Rebuilding indexes and updating statistics
• Monitoring error logs and event logs for database errors

Server Management: Building and maintaining Windows servers, endpoint protection, vulnerability scans, application/web/file/FTP servers, PowerShell, Windows Failover Clustering, roles, and features

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture
• Knowledge of security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, PII)
• Cloud storage, backup, restore mechanisms
• Firewall, SAN, RAID, email troubleshooting, web services
• Availability for 24-hour support and strong communication skills
